I’ve come to the conclusion that Hungarian is basically impossible for foreigners to learn, unless you are really, really, immersed in the language. I still can’t count to ten! I can count most number between 1 - 10 however pronounce most of the ones I do know incorrectly.

Also it seems just about every other foreigner I’ve met who have lived here for years and even have taken Hungarian language lessons still have trouble with the basics. I just have to keep at it I guess.

I figure I have an inventory of about 25 Hungarian words, most of them uselss words without being able to put them in a full sentence or use them in context.

Words I know:

Narancs - Oranges
Sor - Beer
Sorozo - Pub
Bor - Wine
Koszonom - Thank you
Jo napot kivanuk - Good day

And the one word I can definitely pronounce:
Hallo - Hello
